She shared her thoughts on being back in New Zealand, her favourite memories with the team, her experiences in Gy\u0151r, and her personal goals for the next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen sz\u00edvesen eml\u00e9kszik vissza az idegenbeli m\u00e9rk\u0151z\u00e9sekre, amikor a csapattal egy\u00fctt utaztak, zen\u00e9t hallgattak az aut\u00f3ban, valamint az edz\u00e9sek ut\u00e1ni k\u00f6z\u00f6s fagyiz\u00e1sokra is. A csapatr\u00f3l \u00e9s a klub l\u00e9gk\u00f6r\u00e9r\u0151l is nagyon pozit\u00edvan besz\u00e9lt. Edz\u00e9sprogramja kifejezetten intenz\u00edv, hiszen naponta k\u00e9tszer edz, ami seg\u00edt abban, hogy j\u00f3 form\u00e1ban t\u00e9rjen vissza Magyarorsz\u00e1gra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 szezonra Pipp\u00e1nak t\u00f6bb szem\u00e9lyes c\u00e9lja is van. Szeretne min\u00e9l t\u00f6bbet fejl\u0151dni magyar nyelvb\u0151l, hogy jobban \u00e9rtse csapatt\u00e1rsait, \u00e9s k\u00f6nnyebben tudjon kommunik\u00e1lni vel\u00fck. Returning home is also a time for rest and recharging<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the end of the season, Pippa Southcombe returned to New Zealand, where she is enjoying spending time with her family and friends. As she said, it feels good to be back home, even though it is winter there at the moment, so the weather is not as warm as in Europe. While she was in Hungary, she missed her friends and family the most, as well as being within walking distance of the beach. Returning home has therefore been a great opportunity for her to recharge and enjoy the familiar surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enriched by positive experiences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back at the season, Pippa finds it hard to choose just one favourite moment with the team. Some of her best memories include the away games, travelling together in the cars while listening to music, and the ice cream trips after training. She describes her experience in Gy\u0151r so far as an amazing opportunity. She feels that her time here has taught her a lot, not only about playing water polo internationally, but also about herself as a person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special memories and a welcoming community<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several things surprised her about living and playing in Hungary. One of the most memorable aspects was the number of different pools across the country, as almost every game was played at a new venue. This also allowed her to see several different cities in Hungary throughout the season. She was also impressed by the atmosphere created by the supporters, especially the chanting and the drums at the games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pippa also spoke very positively about her teammates and the atmosphere at the club. She highlighted how kind and welcoming everyone was, and how her teammates made sure she felt included throughout her stay. She also felt that everyone at the club made a real effort to help her enjoy her time in Gy\u0151r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intense training programme helps the preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her time at home is still very active. She is training with the New Zealand teams and playing for her club team, while also making the most of her time with family and friends. Her training schedule is intense, with two sessions every day, helping her stay fit and ready for her return to Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the next season, Pippa has several personal goals. One of them is to learn much more Hungarian, so she can better understand and communicate with her teammates.
